one time, when dylan was in the hospital for asthematic bronchitis (sp?), uncle spark and aunt verna came to drop some toys off for dylan. it was in february, and i ran outside in bare feet to meet them. verna and sparkie were convinced that, of course, i must be FREEZING. so they made me sit in the sunlight, in their car, with an extra sweater on, while they turned the heat up real high. i wasn't even cold, but they did it anyway. i smile whenever i think of that. :] sparkie was a great guy, and he'll be missed a lot!

It was so nice to meet everyone this weekend, even if it was under such horrible circumstances. I'll never forget Uncle Spark; he was such a wonderful man. :)

oh, and I remember him trying to make me eat my peas when I was at his house (I don't like them very much), and I was whining and complaining; I think he won, though. I also remember once Christmas when Verna and he stopped at my grandparents house while we were there, and we all got to chitchat and take pictures. I'm not sure why I remembered it so clearly, but Sparky was always one of my favorite family members after that.

We only knew him from afar, but his sunshine will always radiate the warmth we felt knowing him..........he always had a smile on his face, and happiness in his soul, what a guy!!! We know how lucky we are to have shared our lives with him, rest in peace, Sparkie, you did good.
