As we were growing up, Mom often talked about writing a book telling the story of our family. She even had a title: Fingerprints and Fences. Mom would tell you, "Fingerprints are the marks others leave on our hearts, and fences are the barriers we erect to protect ourselves." But at least one child thought it had something to do with a dirty house (fingerprints on the walls and all that)! Now, Mom wants to turn this into a family project.
One thing we all know is that our home was seldom boring, and life was anything but uneventful. This page begins an effort to chronicle our tale. This is also proof that truth really is stranger than fiction!
